The dharma Bums by KEROUAC
In the book The Dharma Bums, two Buddhist, Japhy and Ray go on a hiking trip to climb a mountain in California. Japhy is awakened and he knows the ins and outs of life. On their hiking trip Ray is so impressed by all knowledge Japhy knows. This is not a plot driven book but still is a lovely book to read. The characters are very well made, there believable if you like that kind of lifestyle. And they are both so unique; Japhy and Ray have these personalities that are very pure. When reading this book I learned much about Buddhism and what it’s like to be one.
