Plan B by Jenny O'Connell
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a half brother you did not know about? Have you ever wondered about if that half brother was famous? Well Vanessa in Plan B never thought that about any of those questions until her mom and dad said her half brother was coming to stay with them. I guess it would be shocking to find out your brother was famous.
Vanessa is a senior at Cobalt high school and has straight A's and loves school. When her brother Reed comes to stay with them, Reed goes to the same school and has a tutor. When Vanessa finds out that his tutor was a senior and smarter then her she gets jealous. Taylor is one of Vanessa's friends and loves movie stars and Reed was one of them. Taylor goes behind Vanessa's back and publishes everything Vanessa says about Reed. They end up not speaking to each other and her and her boyfriend break up.
I would recommend this book to people around the age of 12 through 15. The reason I do not recommended it to people older or younger is because the book deals with kids in high school. It is an easy book to read and has many things going on. The genre of this book is non-fiction but probably would not happen to anyone in real life. This book has excitement of what is going to happen next and suspense in a few parts. If you are a teen and have been waiting to read a book like this, then go ahead and read it!
