Is It True Love

I can’t hold it in; these feelings are strong
I would do anything to save this love
I continue to think cupid was wrong
We need a restart please give us a shove
She says she’s hurting and wants to break up
Tired of the struggle we start to give
Nothing is working i’m down on my luck
We can’t live the lives that we want to live
We both have dreams and we try and we try
We calm down and I sit stroking her hair
I’m starting to think I’m not a good guy
I’m trying to show her how much I care
If she does decide that our love is through
I’ll continue through life thinking of you
