Mother Nature
As the alpenglow painted the peaks pink
She frolics through the ethereal milieu
When spring arrives, a thousand blossoms wink
She lies in the meadow, fond of the view
On chocolate branches the flowers bloom
Beautiful buds glowing under the sun
The mise-en-scéne bears natural perfumes
She picks a bouquet until there are none
But their life is fleeting, they start to languish
They cascade down the tree like flowing sap
Their cerise hues melts away in anguish
The frail petals fall with a muted tap
The girl grows feeble, her touch is gentle
Weathered hands, as fragile as a petal
