Waking up to the sound of birds singing
I can sleep since the alarm’s not ringing
No worries, no responsibilities
The air is fresh and every plant is green
I am free and I can do what I want
I have so many possibilities
So many places to go and be seen
I have the entire day to myself
I can travel to any restaurant
It’s warm, goodbye Santa and goodbye elf
I can stay awake until the sun rise
I can sit outside and watch fireflies
I wish that summer could be extended
I just wish that summer never ended
