On first base getting all of the outs,

Playing the game i love with my peers,

Knowing that we will win withought a doubt,

If we win it will end with cheers,

I am up to bat hoping to hit a dinger,

He is pitching fast but not fast enough,

I let the first pitch by because i am not a good swinger,

I hit the next one but thought it wasnt enough,

But it went over without a single bluff,

Back in the feild after batting,

The opposing team hit one far but sure enough,

It didnt go over but it was nerve racking,

We won the game pretty easily,

And we went home really peacefully.
