The Voyage of a Refugee
The moon, so bright, doth shine tonight,
Your face, its light, doth catch insight
You run, for fear, despite all you're sorrow,
So safety, you find, until it be morrow.
But whilst, the moon, remains up high,
Your safety, and beauty, together will vie.
From hub to hub, from den to den,
Escape you shan't find from such dastardly men.
And while you think your efforts may progress,
Your conscience does seem to commence to regress.
But should the moon wane and fade from sight,
Returned is your safety, s'long as there's no light.
