What is a dream,
when there is only emptiness?
laying in bed, in a silent scream,
slowly engulfed by darkness.
What is a friend,
when you look at him and feel alone?
When he asks you to bend,
and you’re left, unknown.
What is the point of life,
when walking between sanity insanity?
When you’re ready to grab a knife,
as you slowly lose your humanity.
What is a dream, a friend, and a life worth,
when all you have become is nothing and sorrow?

Wow. The poem made a great impact and left a huge trail in my soul. I also enjoyed your hidden rhyming (friend-bend, life-knife, alone-unknown etc). However, as a suggestion, I think you should replace some of the simple and most often used words to a more mature vocabulary. For example, laying, silent, scream, slowly, dream, and friend. Also, maybe you should add some metaphors. You did an amazing job :)
