Sea dreams

I'm lost in a sea of dismay.
Not a single person in sight.
In a little cot I lay,
every single night.
Will I ever find land?
Will I ever see the dawn?
I have darkness in my right hand,
and from what I know the left is gone.
The floor is missing below.
The roof is far above my head.
I'm still happy because I know,
that peace is within this death.
This happiness was earned,
and my lif lesson learned.
