I just lay here
Motionless in the night
Shaking with fear
Waiting for the light

I want you near me
By my side
So you can see
All the tears I hide

You're far away
Fighting this war
It needs to be May
So you can walk through this door

I know you want to fight
But I want you home tonight

In English, we are studying poetry,,,and we are writing sonnets...i just let loose and put my pen to my paper and wrote this within minutes. This is about my boyfriend.
