Seasons
The leaves, when roaming, leave trees blank and bare
Birds fly south for solace in warm weather
Cold gusts from up north are beyond compare
But when birds leave only a small feather?
Worlds are coated in blankets of white snow
People scurry, hurrying for their house
Seeds of grass and earthworms slumber below
While snowflakes still fall, quiet as a mouse
But slowly, as the world begins to thaw
The trees begin to return what was lost
And with it returns the bird’s loud caw
Vibrant blooms chase away the winter frost
Birds and leaves always seem to rearrange
Moving and shifting as the seasons change
