The deadly word
It was always one. One of everything.
One, not two, not three, not four, always one.
That one word is always a deadly thing
Love, the feeling we wish for it’s begun.
The fighting, The war, The trying once more.
The lust, the want, the desire that leads
To it. Needing for one more touch. Adored.
Wait, Now they are bored. The love recedes.
Cries, You cry. Trust broken. “Don’t leave!” You screamed.
“Such a bore, I don’t want you nowadays”
Barely knew him, He was never pleased
Just want you for your body, such a daze
You cry, you scream, You fall, you break, again.
Now you will wait before you try revenge.
Hi, I'm Abby. I'm 15. (16 in July).
I wrote this sonnet for a Creative writing assignment and My teacher reccomeded I post is on a poetry site.
The sonnet I have written is about relationships now. Whether an adult in college, teen in high school or an adult with a stable job. We have all had experience or knew someone with the experience of a man or women or just someone who used them for their body until they got bored.
