Down the slopes I trod a forgotten path,

A path to death or life, I do not know.

The path shows the sky, so myself I throw 

The earth will show me the greatness of wrath.

To the earth! On the snow my blood shall glow,

Before the end, a path the earth did show.

Beyond the earth I follow the dark path,

The land beyond life opens up for me.

Dark rivers wash over my transparence

Souls beyond laugh or scream of misery,

From earth and sky, I lay in the difference.

Earth and sky now forgotten, night is free,

Just as some don't tell what lays within us,

The earth lies to us and is full of glee.
