The Author's Lost Daughter
Her eyes were also her mother’s
Lana was their only daughter
After Lana, they didn’t have another
Because Grace fell into that body of water.
The mystery around him only grew
Until the rumors turned him into a shroud
One day he disappeared, out of the blue.
The sister entered his house under a rain cloud
After hearing a child’s cry, she saw when she arrived
Lana in her crib alone had survived.

This poem is about an author completely shrouded in mystery but this isn't the only poem as it's a part of a set to tell the story of an author and his life.
