My Hero, My Dad
There is my father, a caring man,
A man that I admire.
His whole life follows one big plan.
Always wearing different colored ties
That brings out his bright blue eyes.
His belly is a little round
And he stands very high off the ground.
He most definitely likes to talk.
He puts on trials, some are even mock.
He works hard being a lawyer
And he is his own employer.
He likes to make jokes
And walk around the City Park oaks.
He will do anything to make one happy,
Some of his sayings even make me sappy.
He goes out of his way
To make someone’s day.
On Saturday he is a Tiger,
But on Sundays he is a Saint.
He rides on a float,
And a book he has wrote.
He will always be my dad
Even though he sometimes makes me mad.
