Just a Kid in Love
Lost in lust when your figure caught my eye,
Face lit up the room with your golden smile.
Those soft petal cheeks where small dimples lie,
Affection, a bud, can now bloom for awhile.
His eyes in the sun like pools of honey,
Cheekbones speckled with delicate freckles.
Hair soft and brown like a little bunny.
Warm skin carefully carved with toned muscles.
Whenever I see him my head starts spinning,
Joyful spirit so perfect to be around.
When we talk my tongue is tied babbling,
I can’t believe you are mine, I’m astound.
His raspy youthful voice hums in my head,
As I dream about him lying in my bed.

This piece is based off of the beautiful Shawn Mendes. It was an assignment to pour your love out on a celebrity. So he was my person of choice.
