You were my love

And I held you close

And you were above

Everyone at most. I got one rose

From you that I keep

Because it made my heart skip a beat

And it started to leap.

I didn’t imagine you would cheat.

I saw you kissing her

Through the window of my car

And I for sure

Couldn’t reach your high bar.

So goodbye forever

To a love that ended in never.
