Message From A Meth Addict
Waking up to the sight of death
This can’t be it, maybe I’m crazy
The smell, the taste, the feeling of meth
In my system, makes me feel a little dazy.
Meth has the ability to make anyone psychotic
Even a little young Okie
Boy. The first insertion was a bit exotic
Now, here I sit and write from the pokey.
Oh, how meth has altered and changed me
My jumpsuit crafted out of a satin
Material. I am now an outcast from society
Tweaking out makes the English language sound like Latin.
Coming out of my nightly sleep dreamless
Like always. Wishing my arms were seamless.

This is not a poem about me or anyone I know, I did some research and found something I could put in a poem to make awareness to teens and kids.
