Darling
Dancing in the rain, I saw you there.
A beauty such as you flocks through the night
My darling babe, how could I not stare?
You are my sparkle in the moonlight.
It was love at first sight plain as can be.
Your precious smile, it blinds me like the sun
You sway my heart like the waves in the sea.
Darling please may I ask, are you the one?
My heart was in a ferocious flutter
But like glass, my loving heart had shattered
It was when I saw you with another.
As if my love for you did not matter.
They say falling in love is not a sin,
But they never said it would hurt within.
