Titanic
My eyes look across the water
they look across the sea
I’m wishing I’m waiting
But you’ll never come back to me
You're gone forever
and I know that now
But I thought you’d survive
and make it back somehow
That you would see letters to me
from your new home
But now I’m forever and
always alone
the ship is gone
doomed to the depths
and you along with it
Into the ocean
a bottomless pit
ice is now it my heart
for that’s what was your end
and even though we weren't that close
you will still my friend
You took the risk
on that “Unsinkable” ship
You’d said it would be an
adventure, a great trip
it must have come out of nowhere
if it sunk a whole thing
I will forever hate that iceberg
though does not have a life
But it took many
it’s even deadlier than a knife
My eyes look across the water
they look across the sea
Knowing you’ll never come back to me
