ASHANTI'S GRAVE
Over your grave
Ashanti I pray
I had asked God to forgive you
Yet i'm still in denial this will go away
What a shame
For someone with a demon in their soul
To take an innocent life like yours
Lying there cold, frail, and soft
As we all mourn over your lost
The tears that I shed on June 30
Were because you died
I knew how you struggled and now Your living the good life
You have completed God's task while On this Earth. I must thank you for Being a great aunt,
second-mother, And my personal nurse
This is not goodbye, but I thought I'd show my appreciation
For the time that I've known you You became an inspiration
As I stand six feet above your grave.
