Jump Out The Window

Today is the day I got beaten up
Black and blue like the night sky
Their favourite quote
“I wish you would die”

Today is the day I left out my window
Today is the day I ran away

I looked in the mirror
Curdled at the sight
I went down for dinner
And regretted the night

Today is the day I left out my window
Today is the day I ran away

Each morning I spend it all
Cleaning myself
The shower burning my face
So I hang my head in disgrace

Today is the day I left out my window
Today is the day I ran away

Nobody knew, nobody cared
Who I was, who should I be?
I did not conform to life’s insanity
But instead I chose my own

Today is the day I left out my window
Today is the day I ran away

That window, I leapt from
To get away from it all
It was two, three, four
Stories high, but I knew that

Today is the day I left out my window
Today is the day that I died

This Poem Is dedicated to World Suicide Prevention day, it may seem morbid and cruel to write it this way, but it is a harsh truth and hopefully a way to help prevent the bullying and beating
