There's flowers out there
There’s flowers out there
Growing and dying
Out where the kids
Were all stealing and lying
We wanted love
But needed hope
They couldn’t wash this feeling
With the finest soap
Steeping to a beat
In another way
The devil doesn’t care
About a word you say
There’s no such thing
As a new fresh start
Just a constant
Development of the human heart
Stop looking for truth
In a photo both
I won’t tell em
How to live a life
But I don’t support
waving knives
That make the infants
Turn their head and stare
Leaving innocence
With the flowers out there.
