Time in Disguise

We don't know how time was told
But we know it's there until we're old
How was it ever thought of
Was it out of drama or out of love
Was it invented during a crime
Do we know everything about our time
Can we go back to the life there
Or maybe forward to the future
If we go back into time
And mess up will it be a crime
It is like a man in disguise
It knows the truth but tells you lies
You will always have some questions to ask
Because time is a man in a mask
