The Other Side
It's mourning time
As I awake
Pretend I'm fine
I feel the ache
The urge is strong
I can't give in
I know it's wrong
But touch my skin
I feel the pain
But it's okay
And as it stains
I walk away
As if from mars
I feel left out
I see the scars
And want to shout
And I'm alone
In this dark room
The things unknown
Begin to bloom
But as I stand
I start to see
The blood drained hands
The other three
And just as I
They feel the same
The silent cries
Cannot be tamed
But this we hide
From all around
This secret side
That we have found
And all the faces
Behind a mask
Different races
But still one task
And we're all scared
Of what we've done
When no one cared
It was just fun
But take a look
Open your eyes
As what it took
Destroyed our lives
Blinded by tears
We never saw
Cause past our fears
Was blocked by flaws
And in the end
We're frozen still
Until we mend
It's going to kill
