Dreaming
Baby close your eyes.
Place your head and drown,
dreaming means,
no one can
hurt you
now.
Silent breaths mean,
I can miss your sound.
Start counting sheep,
or count the spaces
between
you and me.
In your dream,
Do you see me as I am?
Am I made of sunshine?
Can I have great big wings that
allow me to flutter
all
around.
Are things better when you cannot see?
When you have this
false sense of reality.
Or is your fantasy
Home made
Home grown
Is your dream the only
home
you need?
There is so much security
in the shadows of your mind,
One’s I cannot touch.
Hell, they are probably
more pure
than mine.
So stay asleep
Keep dreaming
For there we can be anything.
Blissfully
Drowning
In a dream
That only you can see.
