Straight Jacket
Long sleeves and chains to strap me in.
I'm bound and stuck.
"Jealous much?"
Even the sound of her voice,
makes me cringe
makes me want to earmuff myself
makes me want to bash your ear drums in.
Like a tiny bird,
she fits in your hand.
Doesn't she know that's where
I stand?
Drown me in her perfume
Dye my hair if you have to
This jacket is constricting my every move
My every thought
Everything that I do.
If this is supposed to keep me straight,
point me to the
truth.
Why am I being locked inside this false reality of a room?
