An Angel Friend
She was just like moving air,
Whatever came, with courage, she did bear.
She was just like a flying kite,
Always soaring above us all, at a great height.
We all waited for that lucky day,
But she was different, always paved her own way.
We all used to be tense for the next date,
But she, just the present, did celebrate.
She was like shade in the unbearably hot weather,
Her nature was as humble and soft as a feather.
She was like a village in a desert,
Nobody- did she ever hurt.
Where did she come from and where did she go?
She was my best friend- an angel, that's all I know.
Oh god! Such a friend I could not find ever,
I guess she was so nice, that you took her away from me- to your home, forever.

Friends are the angels that lift us up when our wings have forgotten how to fly.
It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.
