I wonder why the sky is blue
And why did the books never catch a flu?
I wonder why the water is wet
And why haven't I grown up into an adult yet?
I wonder why the earth is round
And why can't the fishes live on ground?
I wonder why the fire is hot
And why do plastics never rot?
I wonder why there are useless wars
And why are innocent people often put behind the bars?
I wonder why two plus two never equals to five
And why can't cats and dogs ever perform jive?
I wonder why the seasons are three
And why is man not kind to a friendly, helpful tree?
I wonder why the moons are not two
And why do animals have to live trapped in a zoo?
I wonder why the rivers flow
And why at night do the fireflies glow?
I wonder why the rain falls
And why are the people separated by invisible walls?
I wonder why the lightning strikes
And why are there sudden price hikes?
I wonder why the silences never speak
And why do birds not have a mouth but a beak?
I wonder why the wind can never be seen
And why are leaves yellow,brown or green?
I wonder if this has ever been wondered
And if my endless questions will ever be answered?
