Pain.
She no longer felt the pain,
The aching pain from the burns and whips.
It would soon subside, but then return,
Bringing back the same pain as before,
When will the suffering end?
Will she ever heal?
What is going on in her head, is something she no longer feels,
The screaming terror in her mind,
Is no match for the wounds on her skin,
Her pain is soon put to rest.
