My Throne
Motionless, I fall sinking
Drowning into the unknown
And I fall behind on a pattern
Dancing up onto my throne
Where my goal that very moment
Was only to be a part of the leaves
As they flew into the air
I stood in my youth and I stared
I'm flustered with different colors
It's all happening to fast
Sinking into the sharp cool air
Making every lingering second last
Once more I'm five years old again
Because youth had direction
Youth is the realest kind of make pretend
With imagination at it's perfection
In the blink of an eye, time had gone
And flown by like it never happened
And I swear to you the snow fell faster
Faster than it ever lasted
Motionless I jumped into the leaves
I sunk into the snow as it fell on me
Dancing into the leafless unknown,
Like time was my only throne
