Leave me alone
please.
Just leave me be.
You’re nothing anymore,
nothing to me.
I try to stay happy,
I try not to cry,
but when you come back
I can only ask why
Why do you do this?
Keep pulling me in,
keep building me up
Just to push me down again.
Just leave me alone.
It’s better that way.
Better for both of us,
if you’d go away.

Wow. I can connect to it. Maybe not the same reasons that you had, but I can connect to this a lot, because of my dad. I wanted him to leave me alone; I felt like he wouldn't leave me alone. But now, my dad and I are kind of getting along together, now. Haha, kind of. But, wonderful and amazing poem. :) You are amazing and wonderful and powerful. Thank you so much, for sharing this. :)
