Emptiness
I guess I've been
searching
for the words to say
to you but they got caught
in the shards
of my broken heart
and the sound of them
got lost in the blackness
that's been occupying
my vacant parking lot of a
brain.
I love you
and even saying it
in my
head
hurts
because I know the feelings aren't the same for you,
but happiness
is what
you deserve
and I'm okay with being
or feeling
empty
and it's actually something
I'm used to now,
so I hope that
you'll
smile
and be okay
for me so I can at least
see someone
happy even
if it can't be me.
