milk and honey
ichor comes from her veins like
honey
when heaven bleeds; when it bleeds it
enters Earth through
the knife on her
skin
and flows through the land of milk and
honey
and it's also a bit like
petrichor,
when the sky bleeds, (not quite heaven) but
at least a heaven on this
earth
but the smell of it send my bones
rattling
because ironically the scent of wet
dirt
reminds me of a graveyard
for my body
but a heaven waiting for the precipi-
tation of my
soul
