Loose Ends
We promised to meet a long time ago,
But you don't remember,
You wouldn't, would you?
With your insouciance and mindless
Abandon
For my heart or my volatile
Trust
So I'll meet you someday
But you won't know me
We'll meet in a gateway by chance
A clandestine kind of Fate, one not observed
By any god
And not really destined for much more
Than tying up all the loose
Ends.
