Roses, so delicate, so pure,
Running the petals over my lips, the soft sensation,
Does your lips feel like rose petals?
Red Roses, like the deepest of blushes,
Do you blush as red as a rose?
I give a rose but never take.
I give you a rose of the deepest of red,
For giving a rose will tell you everything,
Everything that I can't say.
Roses, so delicate, so pure,
I give you this rose, for it is my heart.

Love poems. Insufferable monstrosities, I love them! This one was one of the better ones. Good. Keep writing. Only thing I'd change though is "Does you lips lips feel like rose petals?" "Do your lips feel like rose petals?" Really though. Great job. I like how you compared your heart to a flower. Also, I must now addmit I have double motives...A long while ago I believe it was you who commented on one of my peices titled Adrift. Well I went back, edited it, changed the ending even, took the old version off teenink and then reposted it. I would love to hear what you have to say about it now and I sincerly hope it wins your approval. Just so we're clear: No. I was not being a kiss-up. I actually do feel your work deserves five stars.
