Reflections
well when i’m buried young
make sure i’m not alive
tell my mother that i hope she knows it
but i loved her and everything i’ve done
to make her cry
god i’m so sorry for
i hope she knows it
man being alive is so cold
standing in
the shadow of the moon
looking at the stars it makes me sad
that they’re just reflections
in my eyes
god even though
i know they’re there
i’ll dance with them no time soon
i swam across
across my self for you
isn’t it true?
what did you give me?
you gave me nothing
nothing but lies
isn’t it true?
look at them glimmer in your eyes
the gentle stars
there they are
you know they’re just lies
