Scars

I've got a few scars,
Some scars that are barely visible,
Some scars that still look horrifying,
Some scars from last month,
Sewn up wounds from the night before,
But the worst wound of all is my mind,
I hope that one day,
My mind will only be a scar,
A scar of the past,
Not a wound of the present.
