Living
The dread of not existing
Has haunted my conscience too long.
It is time for me to accept
That I am nothing more or less
Than an accident of nature.
The awe I feel
That life could occurre at all
Overpowers my senses.
Intricate, yet flawed,
In a way allowing more beauty.
How lucky am I
To linger in this beautiful world
When infinite possible lives
Never will?
How ungrateful would it be
To complain of life's brevity?
I am done with fear.
Wonder is enough.
Love is enough.
Life is enough.
So I've opened my eyes...
It's time to start living.
