Everyone goes their Seperate Ways
Girls will be girls.
They say one thing but mean another.
Fake compliments, and smiles.
Then you hear your name in their conversation.
That hurts.
We were best friends.
You knew everything about me
Just as I knew everything about you.
Then you cut me off.
Said to never talk to you again.
That hurts.
I question what I did.
Hours spent wondering when I said the wrong thing,
Or made you so upset.
You told me what a horrible person I am.
That hurts.
I’ve realized I never did anything wrong.
You wanted a reason to be upset.
You needed some drama so you could get that attention.
I’ve decided you can’t influence me anymore.
Our friendship doesn’t mean anything.
That hurts.
