I’ll be fine just as long as I remind myself you love me.
I can read through the words
you have written,
the songs you’ve sang,
repeat those memories we’ve
shared,
over and over again,
in my head,
then I’ll be alright again
I’m separating myself from you,
because I think it’s what
I need,
so do you
If you think for a minute
I’m pushing you away,
or no longer feel how I said
I do,
just read the words I wrote to
you, repeat the memories we’ve
shared,
listen to the songs I’ve so often
related to you
It would mean a lot to me,
though,
if you would start to miss me
just as much as I have been
missing you.
