What You've Done
Told me you would be there
Said to me “I need you”
But the first thing you did
Was turn your back and hid
So now I’m walking away
I tell myself you’re not worth my day
All the hurt and pain you do
You’ve asked me to forgive you
But somehow it hurts too much
To be the Best of Friends or such
All the secrets I trusted you with
They probably seemed to you like a myth
The time I spent talking to you
And in the back of my mind I knew
It was somehow a waste of your time
That was all spent on my dime
And I choose my friends wisely now
It’s all in the question of how
But I try not to make a mistake
You were acting like you were a fake
Hope this was all a lesson well learned
For a friend like me you wouldn’t have earned
