My Castle
Heat and the smell of hard liquor,
Music caresses my ears,
I’m finally here.
Unlike anything I’ve seen before,
Just better.
Idiots around me bang their heads,
I just sing along instead.
Swaying to the rhythm,
Tapping to the beat,
I can’t stay in my seat.
Crowd surfing’s not for me,
But it’s always fun to laugh and see;
How far do they get?
To the band or to the floor?
It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
Big stadium concerts are in the past,
Small theatre concerts are just a blast.
You don’t listen, you feel the music.
