Envy, no longer the green monster
Nor I think, was it ever
The cause of jealousy?
Think.
Little green notes made of nothing more than paper
With sober faces of dead men
Giving the illusion you own something
Because money exchanged greedy hands
Men kill for monetary units
In this sick, twisted world
The trusted keepers of money
Are not your financial friends
A vicious, continuous cycle
Like a demented merry-go-round
Envy should no longer be feared
For money is the wicked green monster
