welcome happiness
Free at last, I have escaped
Never have I felt this great
Nothing to hide, no more hate
Off my shoulders, so much weight
Sorrows, mourning, have I no more
But my heart is still sore
Starting to fix what you tore
But I keep finding more and more
You took and took but never gave
The day I left I felt so brave
You looked at me with such warm eyes
It was so hard to say my goodbyes
But I was strong and now I’m free
Free to be who I want to be
Nothing like you as I have seen
Because, creature, you are so mean
Cynical, deceitful, misleading advice
But there were those days where you were so nice
Happy moments that we shared
Last forever
