On This Day (A Wedding Poem)
On this day
Of love to say,
Two birds were bonded
As the wedding bells resounded
These two, in love,
From start to finish
Their smiles were aglow
Like the purity of a baby doe
The bride walked like a dove
And the groom was melted in love
Oh, such a beautiful sight
That shined like God’s light
May these two bonded
Be in His grace forever
May blessings to them galore
Come from the heavenly shore
I wish you well, my brother
I wish you well, my now sister
May your marriage be blessed
With love, joy, peace, and everything best
