Phoenix Soul
All this time, I thought things would pass by without change.
But, I was wrong.
Everything’s changing, little by little.
An eternity is something I don’t need,
Even though it’s what I have.
My tears are shed for the sake of others,
But no cruel, mortal soul,
Thinks to shed tears for me.
Believe, or don’t believe,
Either way, this path is a lonesome one.
Rather than question why I was born,
I need to find the answer,
On my own.
Even though I am eternally alone,
It really doesn’t matter to me.
At the end of the day,
I will be reborn,
My tears turning to rain,
My soul, to ashes.
