I walk alone on the street
The streetlights are off
Puddles of water on the ground
I see my reflection and don’t see my past

I have no past
I have no present
I have no future

I have nothing to gain
I have nothing to lose
Because I walk alone

No one beside me
Ever.
Nor will they ever be.
No one cares.

What a horrid world
No one looking over
Those in need
What a horrid world

I walk alone
Because of this horrid world
I walk alone
