Voices of Valor: A Latino Struggle
In fields and streets, our voices rise,
Against the walls, against the lies,
We toil and strive, unseen, unheard,
Our strength unbroken, undeterred.
We build the dreams, we sow the seeds,
Yet face a world that often pleads
Ignorance to our cries for right,
But still we march, we stand, we fight.
From dawn till dusk, we carry on,
Our culture bright, our spirit strong,
For justice, hope, and equity,
We raise our fists, our legacy.
We remain to stand strong,
As a community
As a whole
We will continue to fight
No matter how long it takes
Latinos unite.

This poem just describes the struggles that the Latino community faces when coming into a new country and learning to adapt. The reason I wrote this poem is because it can relate a lot to my parents, since they came to the US for a better future.
