SORROWS
An echo of my sorrows,
is what I am,
What I was,
And what I will ever be.
When I was broken and my hopes waning,
It held me in one piece.
When I was lone,
It lulled me to sleep,
Mildly caressing me.
Sorrow’s talons gently coax me into withering,
And will only stop, once my existing ceased.
